S. Hansson

S. Hansson has a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and Management from Norway and Germany and a Masters degree in Intercultural Management from Denmark and Canada. She speaks four languages fluently.

Before she fell ill with Lyme disease in 2009, she was working as an interactive communications manager for the Nordic/Baltic headquarter of Beiersdorf. She has been on the board of Directors in the family business since 2001 and started her own e-commerce business last year selling infrared saunas to help other patients improve their health and well-being.

Ms. Hansson is the co-founder of NorVect the Nordic Network for Vector-borne Diseases, together with Sissel Davidsson. They are dedicating their time to increasing the knowledge and awareness of Lyme and associated vector-borne diseases in the Nordic countries.
