Kenyetta Simmons is a newlywed, dedicated mother of two beautiful boys, author, and educator from Atlanta, Georgia. Kenyetta’s passion for inspiring children to explore and embrace their imaginations led her to pursue her degree in Child Development and eventually to her career as an educator in mainstream and special needs classrooms. She believes that when younger minds learn to read, the more they open up a world of possibilities. Driven by this mission to encourage kids to read and engage with books, Kenyetta uses her education to bring her knowledge to the classroom and promote young children's intellectual development and success.
