Dr. Lina Kubli
Lina R. Kubli, Ph.D., is the Program Manager for Sensory Systems & Communication Disorders, Rehabilitation Research and Development Service, Office of Research and Development, Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC. Dr. Kubli represents the agency on several intra and inter agency scientific programmatic panels related to research in sensory and communication disorders and patient care advisory committees. The VA Sensory and Communication Disorders Portfolio includes a broad range of rehabilitation research to address some of the most common debilitating problems faced by Veterans that can impact their hearing, speech, and vision. This research includes the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to vision, hearing, tinnitus, speech production, vestibular and balance, and multisensory impairment due to aging and/or military combat exposure (such as blast exposure and Traumatic Brain Injury). Prior to serving as a scientific program manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Kubli conducted auditory research at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She is committed to advancing the practice of healthcare for Veterans and their families.
