Denise Stasik
Denise has been volunteering in rural African villages and refugee camps for more than 15 years and has worked in four different African countries, as well as Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Her work encompasses a wide array of projects related to medical assistance, educational development, agricultural projects, vocational training, community service, building construction, and many other issues. Her book is a compilation of short stories about her experiences in Africa, and her hope is to give a voice to those who have no voice. Denise has a bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Microbiology and a Master's in Business Management. She has a successful career in multifaceted aspects of the healthcare industry and years of volunteer service with local, national, and international nonprofit organizations. She is a Board member at AIM Services, an organization that supports people with developmental disabilities. Denise lives in Ballston Lake, New York is happily married, and enjoys time with her family.
