Ann Fonfa

Ann was diagnosed with cancer in January 1993. Thus, she is now a 26 year survivor. Due to Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, she refused chemotherapy. Fearful of heart damage she also nixed radiation. But what to do? Ann chose to explore Holistic approaches and ended up with so much information she founded a nonprofit. The Annie Appleseed Project website has been online since June 1999 and had millions of visits.

Ann is known for asking important questions at cancer conferences, and is a very active Advocate for people with cancer and Change! She is connected to many advocacy groups worldwide and has served on grant review panels and many committees. She likes to share evidence-based information about simple natural cancer strategies, lifestyle changes and holistic approaches.

She’s a happily married (30 +5) to a very supportive man who calls himself the ‘good man’ behind a ‘great’ woman. They love their stepson and 2 grandkids and visit them as often as possible (but only in the good weather) as they now live in South Florida.
